I have always liked the feeling of new beginnings; a fresh start in everyday life. Often by the end of the day (especially when having a tough day) I look forward to a nights sleep and that fresh start in the morning. As written in Psalm 30 "Weeping may endure for a night,
But joy comes in the morning." God knows we need those new days and fresh starts.By the end of every school year, I am ready for a good break and look forward to the last day, and at the same time I find myself already making plans for the next school year. When that new year begins, with new plans, new books, new ideas we have new motivation and ready to roll once more.
Sometimes something as simple as rearanging a room is motivation for me or a fresh coat of paint.. I could probably name hundreds of simple things like that. What are some of your renewing pleasures?A new year is always good motivation and a lot of people make a bunch of resolutions, start reading their Bibles from the beginning again. (sometimes never making it to the end before starting again the next year :/ ) Anyway, I'm sure you know what I mean about new beginnings.
So, here I am first of all with my new blog =D. We have an almost all the way new sweet little baby girl (my favourite part of this newness) We are moving to a new house. We are using a new school program this year, and I think I will go buy myself some new socks yet this week. Exciting stuff!
A daily reminder of what Jesus did for me,as life goes on and the new becomes old again:
